New Hampshire’s Own Granite State College Named a Best Online Bachelor’s Degree Program by U.S. News & World Report

The bachelor’s programs at Granite State College continue to earn recognition from U.S. News & World Report on its annual list of best online degree programs. For the 2021 edition, a competitive pool consisting of 1,641 programs were assessed, a record high for U.S. News & World Report.

“Granite State College is proud of its mission and reputation for supporting the needs of working adult students,” said Tara Payne, Vice President of Enrollment at Granite State College. She adds, “Being able to offer high-quality and affordable online programs is critical to achieving this mission and the rankings from U.S. News & World Report serves as an important external indicator to our current and future students.”

Granite State College is #64 nationwide for online bachelor’s programs for veterans, #107 for its online bachelor’s programs, and #99 for online graduate business programs (non-MBA). Rankings are based on four categories: engagement, services and technology, faculty credentials and training, and expert opinion. For graduate business programs, student excellence is also considered.

Sara Ballard of Barrington, New Hampshire, is currently earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing (RN to BSN) online at Granite State College. A wife and mother of three, Ballard balances her education while working full time as a Radiation Oncology Nurse at the Seacoast Cancer Center at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, New Hampshire.
