Our English Language Arts degrees are flexible programs for future teachers that allow a focus on liberal studies which provides pathways to a career in education.

Individuals may complete this degree with teacher certification at the undergraduate level, or pursue it without certification as a pathway to Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification.

With our Transfer Pathway, we’ll transfer in your entire associate degree, giving you an important jumpstart towards your bachelor’s degree. To meet the eligibility requirements, you must earn a C or better in each of your courses and an associate degree in a related field from a regionally accredited college or university.

Applications for admission are accepted on a rolling basis, offering the opportunity to begin studies at Granite State College at any term during the year. Admission is granted to students who earned a high school diploma, completed a high school education in a homeschool setting under state law, or demonstrate high school equivalency. Successful completion of one of the following exams will be required for demonstrating high school equivalency: the GED, HiSET, or TASC.
