Here are a few of the most commonly used tech tools.
Granite State College uses Canvas as its web-based learning management system for delivering online, hybrid, and blended courses. Canvas is also used to supplement face-to-face courses.
We refer to our Canvas system as "MyCourses" for simplicity, so you'll notice this terminology as a student.
All students registered to take a course at the college can log into Canvas. Once logged in, you can also access WebROCK and your College-provided email.
Chalk and Wire
Chalk and Wire is an ePortfolio development and assessment system integrated into Moodle using direct links within courses. You do not need to log in to a separate system to access your ePortfolio. Once your account is activated, all you need to do is click on the links in your course and you will be taken directly to the ePortfolio assignments.
Microsoft Project Professional
As a student, you have FREE access to Project Professional through Microsoft Azure for Education.
Note: this software is only compatible with Windows 7, 8.1, and 10.
Office 365 is available to download for FREE as a student for both PC and Mac users. The suite includes: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and more.
Zoom web conferencing is utilized for meetings and courses to hold live, interactive sessions. This easy-to-use tool includes video, audio, chat, and screen sharing and is available on desktops and mobile devices.
