This fall, Granite State College will offer community college graduates in New Hampshire the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree in as little as 18 months through a new Accelerated Bachelor’s Completion program. Students can choose either the B.S. in Business Management, B.S. in Psychology, or B.S. in Criminal Justice option and courses will be offered 100% online.
As a participant in the accelerated program, students will take a full-time course load consisting of three courses per term (Fall, Winter, and Spring), and just one during the summer following a pre-planned schedule. This pace allows students to not only earn a bachelor’s degree quickly, but also to keep student loan debt to a minimum. As an added benefit, scholarship opportunities will be exclusively released to students participating in the program.
“Over 80% of our students are transfer students, including many graduates from the Community College System of New Hampshire,” said Nicole Horne, director of advising. “By introducing this program, we’re making the transition between an associate degree and a bachelor’s more streamlined and more affordable for students, which will in turn open up their career possibilities.”
Granite State College is currently accepting applications for the Accelerated Bachelor’s Completion program. Interested students should request information to receive a course plan and to get connected to an academic advisor.
