About Online Learning
Online Interactive Courses (OICs) are an excellent way to learn. Taking
an OIC will require at least as much time as a traditional course, although
it is delivered in a more flexible way.
When Taking an Online Course You Will:
- Work at your own pace and organize your time to meet assignment deadlines.
- Access your course via the internet to communicate via email, chat,
and other electronic methods.
- Participate in a dynamic learning environment with students from across
New Hampshire and beyond.
- Need to be comfortable with the following Computer Skills:
- Using a mouse and keyboard.
- Saving and finding files using folders.
- Copying and pasting text.
- Using a word processing application (i.e., Microsoft Word).
- Attaching and uploading documents and assignments
- Sending and receiving e-mail.
- Browsing the World Wide Web.

What are
the technical requirements for my computer?
- A recent version of Microsoft Office software is recommended.
- Access to the Internet - 56k or faster connection preferred (28.8
kbps minimum).
- A Web Browser such as Netscape Navigator 7.1 or Internet Explorer

event of technical difficulties affecting your course or our network.
