About Online Learning

Online Interactive Courses (OICs) are an excellent way to learn. Taking an OIC will require at least as much time as a traditional course, although it is delivered in a more flexible way.

When Taking an Online Course You Will:

  • Work at your own pace and organize your time to meet assignment deadlines.
  • Access your course via the internet to communicate via email, chat, and other electronic methods.
  • Participate in a dynamic learning environment with students from across New Hampshire and beyond.
  • Need to be comfortable with the following Computer Skills:
    • Using a mouse and keyboard.
    • Saving and finding files using folders.
    • Copying and pasting text.
    • Using a word processing application (i.e., Microsoft Word).
    • Attaching and uploading documents and assignments
    • Sending and receiving e-mail.
    • Browsing the World Wide Web.

Not sure if online courses are for you? Take our "Comfort Zone" test.
