Do I need to submit anymore information?

If your FAFSA is selected for verification or contains conflicting information, there will be additional requirements that need to be fulfilled before you are awarded.  Documents such as a copy of your driver’s license, social security card, alien registration card or selective service information may be required to resolve conflicting information.

Verification is the process used by the US Department of Education to audit FAFSA submissions.  You are required to submit all added document(s) before any financial aid may be reviewed and awarded.  Document requirements may include:  a verification worksheet, federal tax return, W2 forms, a non-tax filer statement, etc.
