In order to ensure that credible, dependable, quality links are available for students and faculty, the following considerations have been made:

Authority
To evaluate the reliability of web site information, we consider the following questions:

Who is the author?
Is the author likely to be authoritative?
Is there a link to the author?

Content
In order to ensure high-quality content, we ask the following questions:

What is the scope of the content?
Who is the intended audience?
What is its purpose?
Is it up to date?
Is it accurate (as far as we can determine)?

Organization
To ensure the site is logically navigable, we ask the following questions:

Is the site maintained and active (unless it is labeled as an archive site)?
Is the content well organized?
Is the navigation easy for the user?
Does it take a long time to load?
Are links on the site maintained and active?
