• Identifies and accesses Granite State College licensed databases.
• Identifies keywords relating to a topic.
• Describes strategies for developing a keyword list.
• Produces a list of full-text articles around a focused topic.
• Selects and uses articles that are peer-reviewed.
• Explains the difference between results from a licensed database and results from an Internet search.
• Lists common Boolean operators.
• Develops a query using a Boolean operator and key words.
• Selects keywords that will produce the most effective search results.
• Retrieves a document in print or electronic format.

• Identifies differences in search engine results.
• Assesses the relevance of information by elements in the citation such as title, subject headings, date of publication.
