Senior Citizens

Because we are a college that specializes in teaching adults, we know that learning never ends. Regardless of your age, you are learning new things everyday.

Perhaps you are interested in taking a course, or learning about the world of computers, or would like to fulfill a long time goal of earning a college degree. All of our learning opportunities are open to qualified participants.

Granite State College offers two options to New Hampshire state residents 65 years and older. We provide tuition remission for senior citizens on a "space available" basis. Space available means that a seat is available without excluding paying students.

Waivers
We have a limited number of senior tuition waivers if you wish to enroll for credit. These waivers must be approved by Granite State College, and you will have to pay the registration fee, and any technology or material fees. You may be granted no more than one waiver per term, not to exceed four per year.

Senior Audit
An audit means that you take a course where no credit is awarded. Audits do not count towards earning a degree, but may be a way of learning for enrichment or skill enhancement. If you register to audit a course, you will be required to pay the registration fee and any technology or material fees.

The process is easy. On the registration form, indicate "SA" on the upper right-hand corner.
