Register Today! Register Early!

Courses are offered statewide in flexible schedules and are open to everyone. Chances are that we are offering college courses in your area at times and places convenient for you.

You don't have to be a degree candidate to register for courses at Granite State College. Whether for personal enrichment or professional development, adults are taking classes with us at sites all around the state, and even online.

We begin accepting registrations eight weeks prior to the start of each term. During Early Registration (first four weeks), a student may register online, in the centers, or by fax, mail, and phone. During Open Registration (last four weeks), online registration is no longer available. Register early for best course selections.

To obtain a Registration Form:

1. Download or print a Registration Form.
2. Pick one up at a learning center near you.

To submit a Registration Form:

1. Check course descriptions, and make sure you have completed, all course prerequisites for the courses you wish to take.
2. Read our Course Registration Supplement for registration policy information, including how to add or drop a course.
3. Complete the registration form, including all course information, and skills assessment (if required).
4. Calculate all tuition and fees, including all course-specific fees (if required).
5. Pay the total amount of tuition and fees due, by check, money order or credit card. Important note: You are not officially registered until all tuition and fees are paid in full or you have received an approved payment agreement.
6. Be responsible for obtaining required textbooks and course materials.
7. Submit your registration form, with total tuition and fees due, in person, by mail, by fax, or by phone to your nearest learning center.

Online Registration:

• You may register online using your MyGranite account during the first four weeks of the registration period. Go to MyGranite Portal.
  

Degree Candidates:

• Degree candidates who wish to take courses at Granite State College, please meet with your advisor for assistance in selecting courses, meeting course prerequisites, arranging payment, and processing your registration.
• Degree candidates who wish to take courses at other University System of New Hampshire (USNH) colleges or through the New Hampshire College and University Council (NHCUC) consortium, please contact your advisor to cross register. The NHCUC consortium is open to full-time Granite State College degree candidates on a space available basis.

Once you are registered, the next step is to purchase your textbooks and other required course materials. We will contact you if the course you have selected is full or cancelled.
