We publicize college news and activities in a variety of formats. The primary format is the writing and distributing press releases about college events and activities, programs, faculty, staff and student accomplishments. Press releases or media advisories are sent out to statewide and regional media outlets via email.

When we write press releases we strive to make everything relevant and news worthy to insure that it receives attention. We can only accomplish this if you provide us with the details and sufficient information to answer the following questions:

Who is the target audience?
What is the event or story?
When is it happening?
Where is it happening?
Why is your activity important?

These are the questions we need to answer as we produce the materials for the press and the public. The more we connect your activity to the needs, interests, and goals of the media and their respective audiences, the more likely it will be that the information will be printed.
