Gregg Public Safety Academy

Welcome
The Gregg Public Safety Academy, located in Littleton, is one of the most technologically advanced classrooms in New Hampshire.

Our network consists of classrooms at the Littleton Area Learning Center, and in Concord at the Police Standards and Training Council, the Richard M. Flynn Fire Academy and the NH Department of Transportation.

Each classroom is linked by a T-1 communications line provided by the Granite State Distance Learning Network, a project of New Hampshire Public Television and the University of New Hampshire.

About Us
The Gregg Public Safety Academy is pioneering ways to remove the economic barriers of time and distance for adult learners across the state, while being user-friendly to faculty.

Our mission is to help state agencies bring training and video conferencing to all parts of New Hampshire. The Littleton facility provides one such space. As part of the Granite State Distance Learning Network we have access to, and collaborate with, over 30 video conferencing sites in the state.

The Academy serves as both a physical location and a state wide operations resource. It is a virtual training center for many state and non-profit agencies that provide training to North Country citizens.

It also serves the entire state as a video event coordinator for many of these agencies. Currently, it assists in providing over 700 hours a year of interactive video events, and has provided technical and procedural training to more than 38 agencies.

Our Partners
The Academy provides best practices training, using interactive video, between multiple sites across the state. The Academy actively assists state partners with implementation of technology, presentation of methodologies, and attracting an audience.

Granite State College and its partners are reaching out to share resources and expertise with state agencies and regional and local government organizations.
