Criminal Justice

This program is designed to prepare individuals for entry or advancement in the following fields related to Criminal Justice: Law Enforcement, Corrections, Probation and Parole, Administration, Domestic Violence, Mental Health and other community-based programs that exist for victims, offenders and their families.

With an Option in Criminal Justice Administration
Criminal Justice degree candidates who are interested in increasing their knowledge of management techniques can choose the Option in Criminal Justice Administration. Two Granite State College management courses are added to the foundation courses, and two additional management-related courses are required.

Credit for Prior Learning and Training
Granite State College gives Criminal Justice degree candidates the opportunity to earn credit for other learning experiences through transfer credit, academic testing, and evaluation of training programs such as those offered in the military or by the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Academy. Granite State College has evaluated the entire Academy curriculum, and is now offering credit for in-service courses.
