Prior Learning Assessment and Validation
Effective October 1, 2007:
For new GSC degree applicants who have attended regionally non-accredited colleges, prior learning may be assessed through the following options:
Standardized Testing (CLEP and DSST) or Prior Learning Assessment Portfolios
Institutions that are accredited can be found in the following publication: Accredited Institutions of Post Secondary Education, published by the American Council on Education (ACE).
Learners admitted prior to October 1, 2007 have until June 30, 2008 to validate non-accredited college transcripts under the current policy.
