NHAEYC & GSC to Host Special Education Professional Development Training Series
Infant, Toddler, Preschool and School Age Teachers are invited to participate in the Professional Development Training Series: Advanced Training: Focus on Special Education in collaboration with Granite State College.
Identified and to-be-identified children with special needs are part of early childhood classrooms serving children of all ages. Challenges in understanding the needs and supporting this population can be difficult, especially when traditional methods of communication and classroom practices aren’t working. Amy Upton and Jane Ward Guaraldi, two experienced classroom teachers in the area of special education, will each provide a concentrated workshop on these important topics. This training offers a choice of two, full day professional development tracks where you will earn 6 hours of annual in-service training in just one day!
Lunchtime offers an optional hour of additional training if you come and network with your early childhood peers and many of the NHAEYC Board of Directors. Please bring your lunch and join us for this opportunity.
We hope you will head back to your programs with a strong sense of purpose and self-validation in knowing that the work you do is important and is appreciated. We hope to see you there! To register online, please go to www.nhaeyc.org.
