Portsmouth, NH - OLLI at Granite State College will present a special event at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre featuring Jon Kimbell, director of Man of La Mancha at the Theatre, co-director of Prescott Park’s upcoming Wizard of Oz and producer of Broadway’s Tony Award-winning Memphis.

The event will offer a behind-the-scenes look at life in the theatre with Craig Faulkner, Artistic Director at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre, Joanne Dodge, Director of the Senior Moments program and Kimbell. Refreshments will be provided and raffle prizes offered.
The national OLLI network began in 2000, with grants from the Bernard Osher Foundation, to emphasize the importance of lifelong learning for everyone, at any age. The membership-run OLLI program welcomes anyone over the age of 50 to become a member and attend its classes, where there aren’t any prerequisites or grades, but a genuine, widely held passion for learning. There are now 117 OLLIs in colleges and universities across the country, all of which celebrate a commitment to lifelong learning and “learning for the fun of it!”
The first and only OLLI in New Hampshire began in 2004 at Granite State College, one of four institutions of the University System of New Hampshire. Now 750+ members strong, OLLI holds classes in five locations across the state, including Manchester, Claremont, Concord, Conway and the Seacoast.
