GRANITE STATE COLLEGE WELCOMES DR. PATRICIA TAUSSIG

February 11, 2008 - CONCORD - Dr. Patricia Taussig of Antrim has recently been named Program Coordinator for District Mentors and faculty advisor for Granite State College’s Office of Education Programs.

Dr. Patricia TaussigAs part of her new position, Dr. Taussig is conducting a research study examining the effects of the College’s curriculum on its teacher candidates and the performance of their students.

"I am happy to be a part of the team here at Granite State College," said Dr. Taussig. "I am impressed with this program here at Granite State College and the flexibility it offers students who wish to become certified."

Dr. Taussig served as vice principal of Crotchet Mountain School and Rehabilitation Center in Greenfield for 10 years before moving back to her home-state of Indiana in 2004 and working in the public school system there.

Dr. Taussig earned her Ed.D. in Special Education and Early Childhood Education from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana where she also served as an adjunct professor of special education courses.
